02 Jul Can Tie & Tease Be Tantric?
At times, I receive requests asking me to blend Tie & Tease with Tantra, or to offer “dark tantra”. Out of respect for the classical practices of “white tantra”, I prefer to keep session styles very separate. Tantric bodywork can and should be spiritual, gentle, and subtle; accompanied by love and devotion to well being. An excellent tantra massage can create an expanded sense of self & connectivity to the universe through rhythmic breahwork and full body O. Tie & Tease massage is typically intense, sometimes forceful, and deeply commanding of the visceral senses. An authentic tantrika greets her client with the intent to share her peaceful and wise feminine spirit, and the desire to heal and to guide. A sensual femdom greets her client with the intent to invoke loyalty, command his senses and arouse his life force by immersion in her powerful femininity and stimulation through sensation play.
I was a massuese, tantric bodyworker and yogini for many years before I ever began offering sensual domination. As I anticipated that conducting such recherche sessions could call up a very arcane energy in my psyche, I waited until the time to do so became clear. I did not want to tangle with that deep, dark and deliciously primordial force until I felt fully ready. As it were, stepping foot into the world of playful BDSM, one involving elements of power exchange and soft domination, most definitely did invoke a part of me that had never before been embodied. It was, and continues to be, exhilarating. It is also a significant responsibility, toying with the “dark side”, and so “No” is always my answer when asked to blend Tantra with Tie & Tease.
I must state that they are separate, and singular, session styles. My offerings are not “a la carte” or “mix & match”. While I am always a Tantrika, and tantric energy & breath awareness is present in all of my sessions, I do my best by keeping session styles separate. This helps me to stay focused on the archetype that I am embodying, & to engage the mental energy I need to conduct a safe & consensual experience. Tantric massage is for relaxation & healing, & my sensual FemDom sessions are for relaxation -plus- intensity & power exchange; and so yes, this could be considered a dark tantra session, but I do best by wearing one hat at a time.
